Ned is one of the founding partners of our firm, he has been practicing in the corporate, securities and general business law fields for over forty years. Ned’s corporate practice involves the representation of closely held and public companies. His practice with closely held companies includes mergers, reorganizations, private placements and acquisitions and also often involves developing solutions to disputes involving the shareholders of closely held companies and working with our firm’s tax department in resolving estate planning issues. His experience with public companies includes advising clients on state and federal securities compliance issues. He has represented numerous insurance agencies and has long experience in representing for profit educational institutions. Ned also represents employers, employees and consultants in employment and executive compensation matters and licensors and licensees in connection with technology licensing situations. Ned is AV® Preeminent™ rated by the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, its highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics.

Ned is active in supporting various charitable organizations. He is past President and member of the Board of Trustees of MAB Community Services which provides assistance to individuals with disabilities including brain injuries and developmental and visual impairments and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center which provides young people from the greater Boston area including inner city middle school students with courses in environmental education, peer leadership, challenge and wilderness adventure at its facility on Thompson Island in Boston Harbor.
